Christian Fascism in Watertown, NY

Here's an example of Islamofascism Christian fascism right in our own backyard. I might even venture to say the minister of First Baptist Church in Watertown, NY, made a terrorist-friendly decision:

The minister of a church that dismissed a female Sunday School teacher after adopting what it called a literal interpretation of the Bible says a woman can perform any job -- outside of the church.

The First Baptist Church dismissed Mary Lambert on August 9 with a letter explaining that the church had adopted an interpretation that prohibits women from teaching men. She had taught there for 54 years.

The letter quoted the first epistle to Timothy: "I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent."

Anyone think burying women like this up to their waists in sand and stoning them might be in our future?

I guess you think the Roman Catholic Church has been fascist from the beginning, then.

Whether or not what this Baptist church did is a sensible reading of the biblical text, your labeling this as fascist is just nonsense. Go read any definition of fascism.

(Btw, I think "Islamofascism" is not an appropriate description of our enemies. I think "Islamic totalitarianism" is more accurate.)
