Before the invasion of Iraq, Bush justified the invasion by stating, on numerous occasions, that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction, specifically nuclear weapons and chemical and biological weapons. Now that the Duelfer report (aka the Comprehensive Report of the Special Advisor to the Director of Central Intelligence on Iraq's WMD) has come out, with its finding that Iraq did not have any nuclear, chemical, or biological weapons at all at the time of the invasion--and, indeed, not since before the Gulf War--Pres. Bush has taken to recasting the reasons for the invasion.
