SO SHOULD ANYONE BE SURPRISED that Pres. Bush believes in "Do as I say, not as I do" (or "as I did," in this case), when it comes to drinking and drugging? In a series of conversations taped by a former friend of Bush's at the start of his first term, Bush said that parents should deny or not acknowledge having taken drugs or alcohol and tell their kids not to do it. "He mocked Vice President Al Gore for acknowledging marijuana use. 'Baby boomers have got to grow up and say, yeah, I may have done drugs, but instead of admitting it, say to kids, don't do them,' he said."
