More proof that climate change is not a problem.

Wikipedia continues to draw headshakes and sighs because of three highly publicized incidents of false or misleading entries. At least with Wikipedia, anyone can correct or clarify false or incomplete information in an instant. What recourse do we have when Judith Miller leans on her Iraqi exile friends to write false and misleading articles about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq? It took several years to find out about that one.

Bill Thompson of BBC Online cautions, Read and use Wikipedia, but be a careful reader and don't believe everything you read until you double-check it. Sounds like good advice for anyone who reads a daily newspaper.

U2's Bono and Bill and Melinda Gates are Time magazine's new Persons of the Year: Bono for his yeoman's work getting the world's wealthiest nations to forgive the debt of the world's poorest nations; and Bill and Melinda Gates for the money they have poured into building clinics and distributing vaccines to fight disease in remote and underserved parts of the world.
