Sen. Frist's Pressing Priorities

If asked to name the nation's most pressing priorities, some Americans might say national security. Others might say the economy; still others might think that doing something about 45 million Americans without health insurance is high on the list. Or maybe the skyrocketing cost of a college education.

But if you named any of the above as top domestic priorities, you would be wrong, according to Sen. Bill Frist. He told Fox News Sunday's host that the most pressing priorities for the United States are banning flag-burning and same-sex marriage.

If he tries to push these amendments through, and doesn't succeed, homeboy Fristy will use the loss to "energize" his base in 2008.

He is a snake in the grass.
