Watch and listen as Dick Cheney tells Chris Wallace that we have made "enormous progress" in Iraq.

Two bloggers are linked from Memeorandum with video of Chuck Hagel verbally demolishing Joe Lieberman's blather on Iraq -- in which Lieberman resurrected the linkage of Iraq to 9/11, and suggested that opponents of Bush's plan want the U.S. to be defeated in Iraq. I will link to the one who chose not to characterize Hagel's response with a word that implies a justifiable woman-beating. I think John Amato's choice of words was deliberate, and I think he should be commended for matching politics to language. (Meaning: If you support peaceful solutions to conflict, you don't use language that implies it's okay to beat up women.)
