Catholic Students Required To Take "Sensitivity Training" After Insulting Jewish Students from a Nearby School

Someone should tell these assholes that Jesus was a fully observant, committed Jew, that he was not a Christian, that Christianity did not exist as a separate religion until at least a century after he died, and -- most important -- that Jesus does not love bigots and ignoramuses.

Apparently “We love Jesus” was done in an anti-Semitic way. Kinda makes one wonder what, if anything, the school is teaching about the origins of Christianity. As an extension, I suppose that there are a lot of “good” Christians that believe that Jesus started, created Christianity. If you asked them who St. Paul (Saul) was and where he traveled, you’d probably get a blank stare.

I read a book about Paul not long ago (it was written by a Jewish historian).

He was a fascinating character, Paul. Very, very complex and interesting. Even during his lifetime, Christianity was not a separate religion. Christians were a sect within Judaism.

A lot of devout Christians today simply don't understand this.
