Hillary Clinton Refuses To Apologize for Iraq War Vote; Ralph Nader Might Run If Hillary Is Nominated

Yet one more reason to pray that the Democratic Party has the wisdom and foresight not to nominate Hillary Clinton as its presidential candidate. Actually, there are two reasons: Hillary Clinton's refusal to acknowledge that her vote to authorize the Iraq war was a mistake, and to commit to atoning for that mistake by taking strong, unequivocal action to end the war; and the strong possibility that Ralph Nader will announce his candidacy if Clinton gets the nomination. He might do it anyway, but he's more likely to do it if Clinton is the Democratic candidate:

Former Green Party presidential candidate Ralph Nader said he is considering a presidential run in 2008 and strongly suggested today he would enter the race if Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton wins the Democratic Party nomination.
