John Boehner and S-CHIP

This letter to the editor will appear in a near future edition to the below named local newspaper. I do, in fact, live in John "Suntan Johnny" Boehner's 8th CD

Dear Editor:

I wonder why our Representative in Congress, the Honorable John Boehner hates children. Oh, I know that he says that he does not hate children, but to me anyway, his actions speak louder than his words. Why else, other than ‘hate´ would he be voting to sustain the President’s unconscionable veto of the Children’s Health Insurance Program, otherwise know as S-CHIP.

Mr. Boehner is taking out his hate on the youngest and most vulnerable part of our society, children whose parents happen to be poor. Mr. Boehner please listen. It isn’t the kids fault if the parents job was outsourced to some foreign country. It isn’t the kids fault if the parents got their education in the wrong field. And it certainly isn’t the kids fault if some parents made some bad choices as young adults.

The United States is spending about 3 BILLION dollars a week in a war in Iraq. Certainly, as a nation we can find $135 Million a week to help these kids become healthy adults.

Update: This letter has also been sent to the Dayton Daily News
Update II I tried calling Mr. Boehner's toll free 800 number at about 7:30 PM. No Answer. I did send him an email expressing my displeasure.

If ya talk the talk, ya gotta walk the walk. Just wish I could find a good Dem to work for in a campaign against Mr. Boehner.
