Pssssst! Jesus Christ was Jewish all his life. No one knows when he was born, but it definitely was not on December 25. And the year of his birth was probably 4 B.C.E., not 1 C.E. He observed Jewish law, taught it to his disciples, and forbade them to proselytize non-Jews. He believed that giving up one's possessions was better than pursuing wealth. And he didn't like the A-list people; he hung out with the homeless, the poor, and the people with terrible diseases. He wouldn't have been caught dead at a Bush inauguration ball.
