TOM DeLAY called himself a "lowly sinner" and praised the virtues of humility and "checking our pride at the door" during a speech he gave at a National Day of Prayer event.

Looks like DeLay has concluded that belligerence and threats aren't working as well for him anymore, and he's turned to begging and groveling.
