According to the BBC, several tube stations were affected.
Home Secretary Charles Clarke said the morning rush-hour blasts occurred between Aldgate East and Liverpool Street tube stations; between Russell Square and King's Cross tube stations; at Edgware Road tube station; and on a bus at Tavistock Square.
Jesse Taylor at Pandagon said exactly what I thought when I saw the headlines a few minutes ago.
I hate to say it, but the first thing that crossed my mind was, "I thought we were fighting them in Baghdad so we didn't have to fight them in Britain."
Or in America, which may very well be next.
It's also worth noting that the Muslim Council of Britain has strongly condemned the attacks. Apparently not soon enough, though, because Jesse notes that "the 'Muslims are nothing but violent savages' conversations are already starting."
