Pat Robertson's Political Faux Pas

I was quite impressed with Captain Ed's condemnation of Pat Robertson's fatwa calling for the assassination of Venezuela's president, Hugo Chavez. Until I reached this sentence:

Unfortunately, we have to work a little harder to make it clear that calling for the assassination of a head of state of a country with which we are not in conflict amounts to political insanity.

I'm glad Ed is not an absolutist on the issue of assassination.
