The carnage continues, here. The U.S. military's claims that they were targeting insurgents is so lame; and even if it's true, it's so counterproductive. The U.S. military is targeting "insurgent strongholds"? What is THAT about? When dozens of homes are demolished, burying people under the rubble; when out of 56 civilians killed, 17 are children and 8 are women; and when the U.S. military strikes yet another target on the same day, "near a mosque and a school," and doesn't even bother to say how many people were killed--then the United States military and the Bush administration are birthing twice as many new insurgents as they may be destroying in these attacks.
