Picture War
If anyone still doubts the power of bloggers to affect the way we see the world, check out this site. Thomas Ricks of the Washington Post interviewed several soldiers and military experts, and concluded that this anonymous blogger's photographs were more powerful and did a better job at conveying the war to Internet audiences than this site run by the U.S. military. After you're done there, swing over to Juan Cole's blog, where I found out about both "Soldiers for Truth" and "Fallujah in Pictures." Juan's blog also has photographs showing the new Abu Ghraib photos first shown on Arab satellite television. If you want to know how the photographs were found, go over to BoingBoing.
