A Blogaround
I'm in the mood for a blogaround.
So, in no particular order:
One of the Kathy's (not this one, obviously) thinks that dogs really do know that it's Christmas.
Avedon Carol passes on the fact that the Associated Press still believes the nonfact that Al Gore claimed he invented the Internet. He didn't. (Invent it, or claim that he did.)
BuggyQ at First Draft tells us about some cool websites we might not know about. My favorite is the Fordham University history sourcebooks site.
Shakes has cat photos.
Steve Clemons is going to the dogs.
Do you know what the Garden of Curled Poo is? It's Information Center, in Chinglish. What is Chinglish, you ask? Richard at Peking Duck tells us, it's something that won't be around much longer.
Think Progress links to a New York Times article about the number of American deaths in Iraq exceeding the number killed at the World Trade Center on 9/11 -- and that horrible milestone occurred on ... Christmas Day. I don't know why this didn't hit me when I blogged this story earlier today, but it didn't.

Well, in the sense that until Gore dragged the arpanet out of its DOD/academic backwater and funded development of web protocols and like that, and got legislation to assure that such developments would not be classified, he did invent the Internet, you know.
